In the eighties and ninties of the last century, SMCGC participated and contracted foreign engineering projects overseas, including Iraq Sewage Disposal Plant, 132 kilovolt Underground cables, Kuwait Defence Construction, Myanmar 3A Cement Factory, Vietnam Copper Plant, Albania Nickel Cobalt Purification Plant and other international projects. Since 2000, SMCGC enhanced its efforts for oversea projects such as India BALCO Electrolyze Aluminum Factory with annual production of 250,000 tons, India VEDANTA Company with annual production of 500,000 tons, Italy Fatah Mozart Aluminum plant project, Malaysia 104 sets of senior townhouse project, Egypt Carbon 300,000 tons/year calcined petroleum coke project, Kazakhstan Pavlodar aluminum smelter first and second phase with Annual Production of 250,00 tons, Kazakhstan Petroleum calcining project.
